A Sandpit is the name that we use to describe our facilitated creative problem solving service that brings people with a shared challenge or opportunity together to generate solutions using a creative, fun but structured environment.

The Cartel Photos
Cartel Photos is a new and specialised photography agency based in Falmouth, Cornwall. It is exclusively made up of current undergraduates and alumni from the BA(Hons) Press & Editorial Photography course at Falmouth University who form the members of the agency. All our members are educated to the same standard and are all naturally passionate and enthusiastic in the field of photography.
The Agency
‘The Agency’ in Falmouth enables the BA(Hons) Illustration Course students at Falmouth University to work on ‘real’ projects within industry and allows local and international business’s access to the rich pot of talent available on the BA(Hons) Illustration Course.

AIR Studio
The studio ethos
The AIR Studio is a venue and a community, linked by a shared interest in research and development that aligns with the research being undertaken at Falmouth. The studio draws from the experience of the successful Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol.
The Academy for Innovation & Research Building
The Academy for Innovation & Research building opened in May 2012 and provides a focal point for researchers, business support staff, research students and our collaborative partners.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a joint project between a university and a business. KTPs can vary in length from 1-3 years (classic KTP) and from 10-40 weeks (shorter KTP), depending on the needs of the business and the desired outcomes.

Postgraduate Placements Cornwall
The Postgraduate Placements Cornwall scheme is an exciting opportunity for both postgraduate students and local businesses to engage in collaborative working!
The scheme offers financial support of up to £1,350 to postgraduate students who live in Cornwall during their studies and wish to undertake a placement with a business in the county. The project aims to promote graduate opportunities in Cornwall and is delivered by Falmouth University on behalf of University of Exeter and is part-funded by the European Social Fund.

Performance Centre
The Performance Centre hosts a busy programme of Performance courses, Contemporary Public Events, Learning Opportunities, Business Services, Community Partnerships and Research Activities in 11 high specification performance/ rehearsal studios, 12 practice rooms, a recording studio complex, seminar spaces and an extensive foyer space for exhibitions and displays.
