A Sandpit is the name that we use to describe our facilitated creative problem solving service that brings people with a shared challenge or opportunity together to generate solutions using a creative, fun but structured environment.

The Cartel Photos
Cartel Photos is a new and specialised photography agency based in Falmouth, Cornwall. It is exclusively made up of current undergraduates and alumni from the BA(Hons) Press & Editorial Photography course at University College Falmouth (UCF) who form the members of the agency. All our members are educated to the same standard and are all naturally passionate and enthusiastic in the field of photography.
The Agency
The BA(Hons) Illustration Course has recently launched ‘The Agency’ Falmouth. ‘The Agency’ enables the students to work on ‘real’ projects within industry and allows local and international business’s access to the rich pot of talent available on the BA(Hons) Illustration Course.

The Academy for Innovation & Research Building

Research & Enterprise Development Office
The Research & Enterprise Development Office facilitates research processes and postgraduate research, and assists academics with external funding and research applications. RED also develops research and enterprise at UCF.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a joint project between a university and a business. KTPs can vary in length from 1-3 years (classic KTP) and from 10-40 weeks (shorter KTP), depending on the needs of the business and the desired outcomes.

Postgraduate Placements Cornwall
The Postgraduate Placements Cornwall scheme is an exciting opportunity for both postgraduate students and local businesses to engage in collaborative working!

Performance Centre
The Performance Centre hosts a busy programme of Performance courses, Contemporary Public Events, Learning Opportunities, Business Services, Community Partnerships and Research Activities in 11 high specification performance/ rehearsal studios, 12 practice rooms, a recording studio complex, seminar spaces and an extensive foyer space for exhibitions and displays.
